Migraine and ADHD

Posted 31 October 2024

Those with ADHD are more likely to experience migraine, with evidence suggesting the two conditions are linked.

In the latest episodes of our award-winning Heads Up podcast, host Dr Katy Munro is joined by experts and those affected to understand the relationship between ADHD and migraine, how they’re treated and to hear some personal stories.

Migraine and ADHD

In the first episode, Dr Helen Read, former NHS consultant psychiatrist, shares her professional expertise and her personal reflections, including of her own recent ADHD diagnosis and her perspective as a mother of two sons with ADHD and autism.

In part two, Dr Munro speaks with Dr Gilly Kahn, a clinical psychologist and ADHD advocate, who shares her own journey and professional insights. As a therapist, writer, and mother, Dr Kahn brings a unique perspective on navigating life with ADHD, both for herself and her clients.
