A gift in your Will

Use our FREE online Will service and leave a legacy of hope that will benefit people with migraine for years to come

You all helped my six-year-old to know the signs, gave him his special medicine and the confidence to know how to self-manage his migraines.

We hope that the National Migraine Centre has been able to help you. Now, would you consider making a gift that will help others affected by migraine and headache?

A gift in your Will could leave an extraordinary legacy of hope for years to come. We receive no NHS or government money – a legacy left to the National Migraine Centre could have an incredible impact on the support that we can offer people with migraine.

Our FREE online Will service

If you haven’t already made a Will and live in England or Wales, you can use our completely free service, provided by makeawillonline.co.uk. All Wills are checked by a fully qualified solicitor, with a helpline available for you to call if you have questions.

Once you’ve provided for your loved ones, you can choose to pledge to the National Migraine Centre either a fixed sum or a percentage of your estate.

Amending an existing Will

If you’ve already written a Will and would like to include a gift to the National Migraine Centre, it’s a simple process. Just complete the short Codicil form (below), which amends your existing Will. This is a legal document, so we always recommend consulting your solicitor, who can advise and make sure it’s properly signed and witnessed. Once completed, keep your Codicil with (but not stapled to) your Will.

You can download a Codicil form here (PDF). If you have any problems or would like to discuss your Codicil, get in touch at admin@nationalmigrainecentre.org.uk – we’re happy to help.

Your Codicil must be witnessed by two people in England, Wales or Northern Ireland, or one person in Scotland. All witnesses must be 18 years of age or older, have legal mental capacity, and may not be either your executor / trustee or your spouse / civil partner. The witnesses should actively observe the person signing the Codicil when the signature is made.
